Sores on Vertex

Good evening everyone.
I have been using Fin, Minoxidil and nizoral with great results for a couple of years.
Only problem I am having is that I am getting sores and scabs on the vertex from the minoxidil.

The front of my head, where I have a widows peak, Is unaffected, but the Vertex gets horrible sores and scabs.

I also use Nizoral shampoo about twice a week.

Any ideas what I can do to combat my problem?
