    Default Pillow hair loss

How much hair is a normal amount to lose on your pillow? Every morning I wake up and count and see around 5-10 hairs. No big deal but then I shower and lose 5-10 more then brush my hair. So I guess my question is, is this normal hair loss?

That is normal yes. They say usually up to 100 hairs a day is not a stretch out of the norm, usually a minimum of 20.

So hair loss wise in numbers you're pretty good.

Yes it could be normal but if this hasn't happened to you before it might be hairloss. When I started to lose my hair, I noticed the same thing, if you brush your hair lets say 2-3 more times throughout the day at different times and notice the same frequency of loss, then I would get myself checked. I have a diffused pattern loss so it took me up to 3 years to notice any difference, but it's all downhill after that.

I dont think bothering with hairs is worth it. Are there bald spots where hair is miniaturizing and not growing back? That is the question because everyone loses hair and then it grows back.

If you are a diffuse thinner it's hard to tell if your hair is miniaturizing in the early stages unless you get yourself checked by a trichoscan. If you are losing these hairs only from your hairline to back to your crown and not from the sides or back, then it may very well be AGA.

Yes Dia you are absolutely right A common person loss 50-100 hairs a day, which is called Hair Shedding... So Matt You just need to understand difference between Hair shedding and Hair loss. If anyone shed more than 100 hairs a day then it is called Hair loss and if amount is less then its just a Hair shedding problem.. which is cause by imbalance of Harmons.. and is resolved after certain period of time...
