Nizoral Customer Service: Nizoral is not intended to treat hair loss.
Just spoke to a customer service agent and they said that Nizoral is not intended to treat hair loss and there are otherwise no studies that they could cite to support this. They said that you should use it 3-4 times a week until the symptoms it's used to treat are gone - such as itching, scaling, or flaking - for up to 8 weeks.
I really hate to burst anyone's bubble but spending time & money on things that have no scientific proof is a waste of, well, time & money. Nizoral will help prevent dandruff and make your hair smell good, but please, don't purport that something works without proper documentation that it works.
