Ru, is an Anti-Androgen (the testosterone derivative that attacks your hair and causes it to shrink) similar to Finasteride and Dut. The difference is Ru attaches to the AA receptors on your hair follice, whereas Dut and Fin are designed to reduce the amount of DHT (Androgen) your body produces. DHT is pretty important in your body, it has multiple functions so inhibiting it can lead to multiple side effects like erectile dysfunction, gyno, brain fog, etc. Many people get away with Fin or Dut without any side effects, but many are also affected severely.

Ru, because it's not designed to function systemstically but instead locally on your hair follices, is safer ON PAPER. However, when you use it, most likely a portion of what you apply topically and attach to Androgen receptors in your body systematically, thus giving similar side effects as Fin or Dut.
