Default Just started on finasteride 1mg but am I too late?

I've just started on finasteride 1mg but am I too late? I'm hoping to keep what I currently have as well as hopefully gain some regrowth.

Please see pictures attached. 3 are with dry hair 3 with wet.

Its never too late I mean getting some more hair or keeping what you have is always better than less hair right?

Thanks for your words of encouragement. If the finasteride gives even a little regrowth I'll be happy.

I put it off taking fin for ages because of price and side effects but I decided it's time to take the plunge and I buy generic so it's very cheap . I was very worried about side effects but after a lot of research I've concluded that they are possibly exaggerated online and any that do occur will stop in the vast majority of people after discontinuing the drug.

I think my bald patch is quite noticeable but it doesn't really bother me too much I just don't want to be "slap head" bald as I don't think I could pull off that look. Some men can pull it off very well but unfortunately I don't think I'm one of them.

I would recommend minoxidil instead of finasteride. Finasteride is a drug that can have many side effects and I would hate for it to alter the rest of your life while you try to make your hair thicker and get rid of that bald spot you have. Finasteride should have never been approved for hair loss and all the people who had side effects with their stories online really do not have an ax to grind other than they were really affected by the drug adversely. My best advice to those on finasteride? Don't ever start.
