"Hedgegog"

I swear we heard about this same exact thing years ago and this article has nothing new in it. I would not put much faith in this.

The article actually says: "The breakthrough treatment is potentially far more effective than the Propecia regrowth pills about to be launched in Britain."
The same Propecia I was getting private prescription for years ago? Propecia that's the same stuff as finasteride that has been available as a prostate treatment for donkey's years? They don't even bother researching their articles, but then this is the Daily Mail.

Every Daily Mail article I've read on the topic of baldness has been nothing more than clickbait with an underlying message of humiliating bald men and fooling them with 'potential cures' that 'experts say'.
The site is trash. Pay no attention to it.
Besides that, hedgehog news is old and a member on SAGA already tried it without success.

This is old news they are just rehashing for clicks. The thing is they have the current date on the article but its a lie because this news is nothing recent. Its just proof they recycle this cure in 5 years crap. Way to flush your cred down the crapper daily mail

Curis and Procter & Gamble spent $1,000,000 on development of a topical hedgehog agonist for hair loss. The agent did not meet safety standards, and the program was stopped in 2007
Old indeed..

Yea it's old news but this is the first time that we heard how the mice in the study fared. Remember that some guy named Jimbo tried a sonic hedgehog drug to treat hair loss and it grew a significant amount of hair on his head in a short period of time. It's 2 month results were better than propecia AND minoxidil after 1 year. The only reason we all walked away is because we didn't know if it was safe or not. A number of us tried contacting one of the scientists involved with the mice studies but none of us got through. I myself reached her brother, talked with him, and asked him to have her call me back. She never did. We were all trying very hard to find out if the mice studies proved safe or not.
I wonder if this is the same drug.
