Propecia 99% effective according to Merck?
Hey I was just looking at the propecia website, and they have a chart on the site that says 99% of people taking it did not lose any hair their 1st 2 years on the drug. And that 90% didnt lose any after 5 years. Am i interpeting this chart right. If thats true then Merk is saying that Propecia is at the very least basically garunteed to at least halt your hairloss for 2 years. Why do i aways here its 83 or 87% effective on other sites.
Heres the chart:

lol...
I guess I'm in that 1% range where i am seeing little or no effect at all. I've been on propecia for about a year and a half now and am extremely disappointed with my results thus far. Overall, through the whole experience, I have lost more hair than being off it. But, with the little hope I have that the product might kick in someday I still seem to keep forking out $70 a month.

Merck obviously skews their results. I think that 83-87% is pretty accurate.. Its just like how they say that only 2% see side effects from the drug.. When in reality its more like 20%...
