How to 'evaluate' your rogaine results?
Sorry, I know this is a men's section but I really really need some help.
Other sections and female hair loss forums are just not as active.
First of all, I was diagnosed TE by two derms but Im not sure whether I have AGA or not. I have been losing hair since off Accutane for 14 months.
I have been on rogaine for almost 4 months now. I had a rogaine shed for 10 weeks. Hair thinned out A LOT after rogaine shed.
Now, I shed 30-40 on shower day, which I still don't think is normal.
Im seeing a lot of small hair but they are not enough to cover what i have lost during rogaine shed. Some of them are thick as normal others are fuzzy
How long do I have to be on it to see maximum result? I am using 5% foam once a day. How do I know whether it's working?
Thanks a lot!

I read Tracey C's comment:
It takes four to six months before you will know if Rogaine will work for you. It takes 12 to 18 months before you will know how well Rogaine works for you.

Telogen effluvium commonly occurs after major surgery as a reaction to anesthesia, crash weight loss, extreme stress, and pregnancy. Rogaine may help a little. You may also want to look into PRP treatment.
