Different types of shedding
Hello all,
I'm 25 and probably about NW2-2.5(idk), I started slowly receding at about 20(looking at pictures) mostly in the temples, later in the crown area.
Anyways, I started generic 1mg finasteride 2 months ago and I've been using minoxidil liquid for about a year and a half.
My question is I've noticed two different types of shedding, one involves big thick hairs with a white bulb on the end, while the other (usually following minoxidil) has thin and sometimes translucent hair with no bulb.
Is there any distinction between these? I.e. Does one represent potential progression vs. shed from effective treatment?
Thanks!
