    A little introduction - 30 y/o male, 2,000 grafts, FUE, Dr. Mohebi

Hey guys. New to the site here, so I wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I'm a 30 y/o male and just had my first hair transplant about 7 weeks ago. So far, so great and I think it may end up being one of the best decisions of my life. I started noticing my hairline was receding several years ago, but lived in a bit of denial - not to mention every one of my friends told me I was crazy and that it wasn't receding. My hairline was "just changing". Even my barbers told me it wasn't receding. Then I finally got sick of stressing about it (I'm sure the stress wasn't making matters any better, anyway), so I went to a doctor here in LA who saved the day. I had 2,000 grafts done on July 31st of this year, FUE with Dr. Parsa Mohebi. Everything has been pretty text book so far, though it seems that the Finasteride I'm taking has really prevented a good amount of shock loss. Now it's time for the waiting game as I wait for alllll the new hairs to grow back in their new homes..... Patience.... Patienceeeeee.

I'm really glad I found this site and am looking forward to becoming a part of the board. I'll post pics of my progress as these new hairs start coming in and try to be of as much assistance as I can to anyone struggling with hair loss. I wish I had known about this site for all the years I was worrying/stressing about it and was too embarrassed to talk to anyone. Better late than never.
