SMP-Fixing the Big Dots
As our patient began to lose hair, he went to an outfit that offers SMP. The hairline was originally placed way too low, the SMP dots were too large and the dot color has a bluish tint. The ink that was used doesn't seem to be fading. He had his SMP hairline revised with a laser which left a lighter band of skin tone across his forehead. On July 30, 2013, our patient had Dr. Cole place 2249 grafts with the goal of camouflaging the oversized, bluish SMP dots. This is a progress photo taken today and our patient is planning another procedure. At this hair length the dots were previously very obvious but less noticeable when his head is shaved.

Our patient returned Friday, 11-14-2014 for additional grafts to camouflage the large SMP dots. Attached is a graft under the microscope indicating the depth of SMP color at about .5mm.
