My Story - Meet with Hair Club - Toronto - recommended EXT (pictures) and opinions
Hi
I am 33 years old and have noticed my hair thinning for the last 6-7 years - however noticed a huge drop at 31.
I used propecia for about 1.5 years and a nioxin shampoo and conditioner - and noticed it stopped the thinning and hair loss. However I became depressed and had very low energy - not sure if the propecia was the root cause or low b12 but stopped taking the propecia.
My hair was still pretty good at the time when I stopped in June 2013, as when I looked back at pictures in Dec 2013 - my crown was not that bad, however in the first 3-4 months of 2014 - I noticed it went pretty bad very quickly.
I went into the hair club yesterday to get an opinion and they recommended the EXT therapy from their downtown clinic in Toronto. This is a pretty costly therapy of 2800 -which is basically using a shampoo/cleaner and some vitamins it seems and minoxdil.
I was wondering if anybody has used this treatment and what where the results, I searched on the net and mostly saw negative ones however they were dated back to 2010 period.
I have also included some pics of the area that bothers me the most ? I was also wondering if anybody can give me a treatment plan -without the propecia that could be an effective solution.

Hi
well I did not get a reply decided to do my own research and try this following program.
1 -1000mg of Saw Palmetto
5% Rogaine - as per directions
1 - Zinc vitamin
1- B100 complex
I am not expecting much change - hoping to improve the health of my hair and if not, I am assuming these vitamins will put my body into better health.
Will repost in 1 month - to see the changes.

I have not noticed any growth, and now seems like I am in the shedding - seems like a lost a bit of hair but nothing noticeable on my end. Will repost next month and hoping for some better results.
The first 2 picks are the start date Sept 25th, while the 2nd two are one month later.

Those are pretty standard treatments . I don't know why you need to pay almost 3000 dollars for it. Sounds like a rip off. You can buy Rogaine and Saw Palmetto (in pills or in shampoo as additives) off of amazon for like 50 bucks a month. I don't use zinc or b100 complex but you can get that off amazon as well and just use it by yourself. I don't know anything about the dosages of saw, zinc, and b100 so look those up yourself or stick to the doctor's suggestions. Some people say not to take zinc cause too much can be bad for your body.
Good luck bro

These are my latest pictures, however I have not had a haircut last month, so it looks a bit thicker I believe.
Any opinions would be great, on how I can really tell if the hair has come back.
Also can somebody tell me how to delete the pictures from the manage attachment section.
Thanks
