My Story - Meet with Hair Club - Toronto - recommended EXT (pictures) and opinions
Hi
I am 33 years old and have noticed my hair thinning for the last 6-7 years - however noticed a huge drop at 31.
I used propecia for about 1.5 years and a nioxin shampoo and conditioner - and noticed it stopped the thinning and hair loss. However I became depressed and had very low energy - not sure if the propecia was the root cause or low b12 but stopped taking the propecia.
My hair was still pretty good at the time when I stopped in June 2013, as when I looked back at pictures in Dec 2013 - my crown was not that bad, however in the first 3-4 months of 2014 - I noticed it went pretty bad very quickly.
I went into the hair club yesterday to get an opinion and they recommended the EXT therapy from their downtown clinic in Toronto. This is a pretty costly therapy of 2800 -which is basically using a shampoo/cleaner and some vitamins it seems and minoxdil.
I was wondering if anybody has used this treatment and what where the results, I searched on the net and mostly saw negative ones however they were dated back to 2010 period.
I have also included some pics of the area that bothers me the most ? I was also wondering if anybody can give me a treatment plan -without the propecia that could be an effective solution.
