Where am I on the Norwood scale?
And if anyone has thoughts on the best technique ...

You are somewhere between a stage 4 and stage 5. Like most patients you do not fit exactly into any stage. Your hair loss is slightly atypical because of the remaining hair in the frontal area. Keep in mind that if you asked several different doctors for their opinion of what Norwood stage you are in, you would probably get several different answers. I think that it is an out dated classification system and really only comes into play for those patients you are concerned may advance to stage 7 or 8. Remember, that is just my opinion and doesn't make others who have a different opinion wrong.
