Hi Dr. Cole. I'm not surprised about the need to leave as much tissue behind in the donor as possible while still taking enough to support the growth of the extracted follicles. I'm interested in whether the new hairs that grow in the donor initially emerge from the skin with a thin tapered tip or if they emerge with a full thickness clipped tip.
Thank you

Hi everybody,
any update on this? I'm highly interested in this subject.

This will be interesting to see how it turns out. Dr Cole is the one a I have trust in, I like his pragmatic approach to the subject of follicle regeneration.
Taking out all follicle from 1x1 cm area would be ultimate test and in case nothing grows you can always cover that spot by extracting 40-50 grafts from other donor areas and it will look fine. Hence, bald square wont be permanent.
There has been so many claims of donor regeneration over the past couple of years but somehow no one could prove anything which I find strange. Maybe its marketing trick designed to generate publicity, any publicity is good publicity
Do have any updates on this case, guy who volunteered?
