Finasteride and dutasteride

I have miniaturized hairs that just won't seem to grow beyond 1cm in length.

While I presently take finasteride - have done so for a year - I've noticed that a lot of people seem to feel dutasteride is more effective.

I've thought of switching, but I'm reluctant to come off finasteride completely, out of fear that I lose any gains I've made.

So my solution is to take both: 1mg of finasteride five days a week; 0.5mg of dutasteride the other 2 days.

However, before I do so, I want to ask others about their experiences.
Does anyone else take both?
If so, have you seen positive results?
Is it risky to take both, or simply redundant? (or even risky AND redundant? )
