    Bee Venom for hairloss?

Interesting mention of hair loss in this article about cancer on CNN. Wonder if bee venom actually works?

"Ancient texts show doctors have used venom to treat aliments for years. In 14 BC, the Greek writer Pliny the Elder described the use of bee venom as a cure for baldness. Doctors used beestings to treat the Emperor Charlemagne's gout in the 700s".

Cancer cells die when attacked by bee, snake or scorpion venom. Here’s how a scientist uses nanotechnology to target cancer cells using synthesized venom.

They must not have been using it very effectively then because as far as I know there were plenty of balding guys between then and now. Its kind of sad we are here in 2014 talking about bee venom from that many centuries ago on the cutting edge forum
