help--Rogaine and scalp folliculitis

Any of you have any information as to how to eliminate scalp folliculitis that was brought about by Rogaine? I used Rogaine for 3 months when I saw my vertex balding, and during this time I developed an itch and folliculitis (4 nodules) on my scalp, as well as diffuse thinning on the top of my head. I stopped using it, and now about 2-3 months later I still have 1 of the 3 or 4 little nodules remaining on my scalp as well as thinning hair.

So what can I do??? I use ketaconazole %2 every few days, and use shampoo containing salicyclic acid, as well as improved my diet to strengthen my immune system. Is this going to lead to permanent hair loss? I never thought that Rogaine would actually worsen anything, but I am unlucky I guess.
