Shedding out of nowhere.
So without going into my whole story I've been on Minox for 4 years and Propecia for 3 and everything has been going smoothly, I was able to regrow lots of hair and have maintained it all this time. But in the space of about a month my hair has gotten REALLY bad, lots of shedding and the overall quality is abysmal. Could this just be my hair cycling or perhaps synchronized shedding? I remember it getting bad a couple of years a go then recovering. I don't think Minox or Propecia would stop working so suddenly after being fine all this time, it hasn't been a gradual thing its happening really fast. The only thing I've changed is swapping from Kirkland to Rogaine a few weeks ago.

I think it is the change in minoxidil that has caused the loss in quality and shed.
I switched from MiN Agent to Rogaine Foam a 6 months ago.
Within a few weeks the hair had become dry and brittle and I started to shed extensively.
The hair quality has improved but I am still shedding, 6 months on.
I hope things will improve but I'm not sure what else I can do.

Surely the shedding is a good sign though, I've read up about shedding from switching brands of Minox and after the initial shed things do improve. I'm just hoping that it is the switch in brands and not something else.

Yes it is the switch in brands causing the shedding .

Is this shedding good or bad? Is it recovered?

Just means they are shedding out of the cycle depends on the quality minoxidil, stick with one brand and yes they can be recovered.
