Mirror or Camera for checking crown?
When I look in the mirror, my crown looks fine, but then sometimes when I take photos it really doesn't look as good. I don't think I'm balding at the crown, because my hair loss looks more like an A pattern, but nevertheless which is a more accurate source, looking at your crown in the mirror or taking photos?

I'd say a photo would be more accurate. Especially if you use a tripod with the timer set or get someone else to take the picture. You could also take a picture of your head tilted down facing a mirror. Lighting and as little relection as possible is important for a clear picture. Many people post their photos here to get the forums opinion on hairlines. Just a suggestion.

Thanks! Although I do believe lighting can be an important factor with photos. I've already posted photos on here. Apparently I'm nw 4a, and I'm pretty sure I'm on the A scale, because it's mainly frontal, but out of curiosity, how much crown loss is needed to be classed as an normal nw4?
