In my opinion---overall looks pretty good. What is fam history? Are you taking anything now? If looking for suggestions and you feel bothered by current look---I 'd suggest Rogaine Foam for the crown to see if that does anything perhaps to slow down or regrow the back area. I've seen many men have similar heads as you do now and they did nithing and never had isssues til much later in life 35+. Think about the foam - stay with it at least 8 months- then reevaluate. I am also a fan of using Nizoral shampoo 3-4 times a week and believe I have received benefits. Just suggestions from a novice who does a lot of research and has battled same issues since early 20s and now late 30s.

I'm not taking anything and never have.
Well my father is 57 and is bald, but i would say that for is age he seems to be "normal"... (I don't really now how that norwood scale thing works, but I would say he has kind of a Type II hairline and a Type 5 crown (but not type V hairline) according to this image http://www.belgraviacentre.com/wp-co...wood-scale.gif . His brothers are like him or have normal hair.
On my mother's side, My grandpa was kind of bald, I never met him though so I can only speak from what I see in pictures. And her brother is like my father and they have the same age.

The picture that worried me the most was the first one (greasy short hair) ... Because I just cut my hair short and for some reason I started to notice that a lot of hair is falling out. When I pass my hand through my hair without forcing (like if you were petting a cat or dog) I usually catch one or two hairs =/

Yeah I was actually thinking about the Nizoral shampoo. Do you think it would arm to just get on that without any other medication? Because from what i read regarding rogaine foam is that if you stop using it the shed will restart...

I Might also add that the current set of hair that I have now doesn't worry me that much (maybe the hairline a little bit, but it has always been a bit like that, I just have a big forhead). But I do worry that in one two or three years the situation will get worse. I just want to prevent it from happening

A lot of stories ref potential shedding with rogaine. I never experienced it - at least not to point where I noticed it when I first started using it many years ago. With that being said, it has been a daily regime I have followed and can't speak for what would happen if I stopped using it. And not interested in finding out either....people have mixed results with Nizoral. I have used it about 3 times a week for past few years and as far as I am concerned it has helped slow things down for me--however, it could just be my daily rogaine use. One will never know unless stop all and re start a regime using just one product for 6 mos or a year and see how that goes. Again, not an experiment I would like to participate in. Hope this info helped.

I must say that I've asked for opinions on another forums and I'm getting mixed reviews. Some say it's the start of MPB and that i should get on propecia right now. Some say that I'm fine... Already bought the nizoral shampoo and in a month from now I'll have to book an appointment.

I'd like to know if there's any "generic" rogaine or less expensive alternative that has been proved to work?

I think I'm getting to nervous and stressed about this...
