Regaine makes my head itch
Tried this for two days then had to stop as the treated areas of my scalp started to itch like crazy. The appearance also changed to a reddish rash and the skin became raised and bumpy. Is this an allergic reaction to the active ingredient Minoxidil?

That's a very common problem and it’s usually a reaction to propylene glycol or other ingredients, not the minoxidil. You can find minoxidil based products that don’t contain PG and don't cause the same type of irritation.

Do you have particular product names that I can search for? Our pharmacies only stock Regaine from my research so far.

You can consult the best Dermatologist, he/she can give you complete solutions. Moreover don't use your own medication otherwise it leads to hair loss also.
