Default Had my first PRP treatment today - my experience

So as I'm in Turkey for vaccation i decided to try out this PRP treatment. I have some thinning at the Crown area, and after talking to the doc, he assured me that it would benefit my hair, as my hair follicles aren't dead yet.

They filled up two tubes of my blood and after just 20-30 mins. I was called in to the doc for the application. The thing that pisses me of is that i didn't get any local anesthesia, and to be honest the pain was insane!! I have never in my life experienced so much pain. After the treatment the pain went away after 2 hours. I'm on the edge of quitting this, but only 5 more times left, an dthen it's just 1-2 application per year. Don't know if it's worth it to be honest. I had tears Falling Down due to the pain

It is extremely unusual to be forced to undergo PRP treatment without the aid of local anesthetic. If I were you I would find a different clinic to go to for your next treatment.

The doc was of the opinion that the use of local anesthesia would inhibit the efffect of teh treatment...

Did he show you before and after pictures of his patients? Did you meet any former patients?
