Default Do vellus hairs definitely mean balding?

At the moment I have an ok hairline, maybe a low mature hairline. I noticed I have thin blonde hairs below my temples (only in particular lighting) where my juvenile hairline used to be. When a hairline matures does it go through the stages of having vellus hairs or does this determine MPB? I have a father with MPB but some of his brothers don't.

Answers are much appreciated as I am getting quite paranoid

I suppose I am only guessing, but as a "mature hairline" happens to most anyone (women too, MPB or not), and I think it is caused by DHT/hormone levels, I'm pretty sure it doesn't *necessarily* mean you're balding just because you have vellus hairs where your hairline used to be.

That being said, if you have a father with MPB, studies have shown you're 2.5x more likely to have it yourself.

Thank you so much for the reply, I'm unfortunately aware if my increased chances. Could I have any more inputs please?

Not sure about the mature thing because it was so long ago. But I do remember begining of mpb- i started seeing a picket fence look at my hairline on one side.

There have been many many reported cases of laser hair removal turning vellous hair into terminal hair! Yet we are told that once a terminal hair becomes vellous, it cannot come back.
