Botox and hair transplants
Hi
Anyone have any info on whether it's okay to have botox after HT and if so how soon after. Does it have any effect on transplanted grafts.
Thanks

I had botox about 6 months after HT with no issues.
I doubt there's any issues.. but I'd always wait the 10-14 days after an HT before doing anything questionable, just to be on the safe side.

IAHRS Recommended Hair Transplant Surgeon
I botox plenty of patients at 14 days postop. Just need ALL of the swelling to be gone from the forehead so the botox is less likely to "travel".

Thanks Dr Lindsey and everyone who's replied, was just worried that injecting so close to healing grafts may have had detrimental effect on healing, glad to hear it should be fine - last few months my forehead has started to rival the Grand Canyon!
