Fue scheduled with Dr. Cole 6/4/14
Hello everyone, I am a newbie and would like to share my experience and results of my procedure I will be getting next week by Dr. Cole.
Ive had 2 prior strip surgeries in the past 15 years both in the front only, but they have not stood the test of time as I am currently a Norwood 4.
I'm hoping that this next procedure can restore the front, repair my FUT scar, and crown. I'm flying from California (my wife thinks I'm nuts), but there's just not any local doctors that have the reputation of Dr. Cole.
My current regimen is : Nizoral 3x week, Rogaine Foam 2x day, and just restarted 1mg Proscar every other day.
Since I realize just how important it is for forum members to see before and after pictures, especially when considering this procedure, I will post before and after pictures showing my results.

Good luck today! I am a former dr cole patient,as well, just about 3 weeks postop. I think you are in good hands.

I lost a lot of hair taking fin every other day just so you know. I think you have to take it every day to get any results. At least it is that way for me.

Surgery went great.
Flew out on Weds. morning and arrived in Atlanta around 8:00pm. The hotel I stayed at was the Hyatt Windward/Lafayette which was a very nice, convenient, comfortable place especially after surgery.
The night before surgery I was pulled over by a local police officer and he was cool as hell and let me off with a warning (and yes it was my fault).
I arrived at Dr. Cole's office at 7:00am and went through paperwork, took pictures, shaved my head, etc.
The entire staff were awesome as the entire procedure went very smooth. I must hand it to the techs and nurse, they make you feel comfortable and are nice ladies to talk to even though they have an exhausting job throughout these procedures. My procedure lasted around 10 hours. Talk about a tough job!
Dr. Cole is cool, down-to-earth, and intelligent. His reputation as one of the best FUE doc anywhere is the reason why I went through all the trouble I did to get there (I wanted the best). Dr. Cole enjoys joking around and having some fun, but I have a feeling that when it comes to producing the results he wants, he's a no nonsense kind of guy .
When it comes to the amount of work that goes into these procedures, the amount of resources, and skill to pull them off- I can see why his reputation as a pefectionist proceeds him.
I promise to post some pics during the week. I'm just to damn tired tonight.
Mike
