Thanks for replying. It's only been the last couple of days I noticed and although they are everywhere on my scalp, I feared that they wouldn't be hanging around for any length of time.
I didn't want to sound like doom and gloom. There is the possibility that something shocked a greater than normal number of your hairs into the resting phase and what you are seeing is new growth that will eventually thicken and return to normal. I hope that's all it is.
