10 months finasteride use..
Hey guys!
I have now been using Proscar, rogaine and nizoral shampoo for just over 10 months and I have no results. I also have no side effects at all. I think i've thinned out a little bit more since I started. My question is, should I stop using the treatment or is it too early to define whether the medication is actually working or not? Is it true that it can take up to 2 years to see any results?

Stay on treatments. Give it at least a full year and a half to work, maybe even two years. At 6 months I had made some good progress, then somewhere around the 7-8 month mark, my hair went down hill. I wouldn't say I was below baseline, but pretty close to it. Now at 10 months, I am starting to see some improvement again. I am just assuming that during the regrowth process we are going to go through a series of growth and sheds, and we just need to be prepared for that until everything stabilized. Hopefully things get stable soon.
