Yes. That is true. But what option isn't years away? I personally think:
"This is why the team is excited to be able to offer the technique to humans within a few years. "
Sounds better than 5-10 years. English isn't my mother language, but doesn't a few years often mean 2-3 years? This is if it works on hairloss.

Almost all this stuff is decades away. It moves slower then you would even guess. Getting stuff like this to become common and cost effective is a very slow process even if it does work safely
