Can a 6-pack abs make up for being Advanced Norwood 7?
This is a serious question.
I know that some of those on this forum feel a great body makes up for severe hair loss. Others don't.
I am still on the fence.
I hear women love 6-pack abs on a man. Can this give a Norwood 7 a chance?
I hope so....

6 pack abs are cool, but how will people even know you have a 6 pack? Unless you have a job where you can go topless(ie. life guard) when will you be showing your six pack? I don't think it is cool for guys to sport mid riff shirts, so how do you plan on showing off your abs?
Forget all this non sense FlightTL. You and I are going out this weekend to get fitted for hair pieces. We're going to put an end to this BS. Nobody will be able to stop us then.

Look up Johnny Sins Flight. He couldn't be more bald, he's got a six pack, and he's a porn star who gets more ass than a toilet seat.
Nothing wrong with hair drugs or a hairpiece though in my opinion. Some of us like having hair.

6-pack abs should never be visible. It's not natural, the only way someone could have so little body fat is through liposuction and steroids.
No matter what nonsense "lift hard bro!" people will throw on internet forums.
6-pack abs should never be visible. You need some body fat to be healthy. Good night.
Here you go, Johnny Sins. Not, natural!

Good point...I guess life guard or personal trainer(even then, I'd need to wear something)
Hair piece is awesome. I wish I had enough confidence to pull that off.

Does one really need gear(roids) to get that lean?
I thought cutting hard can get you abs....

Fred I like you man, but you're wrong on this. It is absolutely possible to have 6 pack abs naturally. Johnny Sins claims to have never used steroids, and claims he never will. Whether or not he is telling the truth, I personally am a lean 175 at 5'10" and I use no steroids whatsoever. I don't have the muscle definition I used to in high school and college, but I had a lot more time to lift back then. It is difficult with a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off work schedule. My point is though, I have had 6 pack abs naturally, and I have seen others do it as well.
Limit your calories under 2500 a day, eat at least 150 grams of protein a day, eat no more than 90 grams of fat a day, and eat around 180 carbs a day. Try to limit your meals that are high in carbs to after you lift.
Here is a sample diet that I personally have had success with:
Meal 1:
Omelette made with 3 eggs, 1/2 a red bell pepper, 1 peach
Meal 2 (post workout):
Protein shake made with milk and 6 strawberries
Meal 3:
1 chicken breast, 1 cup brown rice, 1 cup spinach, 1 avacado
Meal 4:
1 salmon fillet, 1 cup brown rice, 1 apple, 1 tomato
Snack (whenever hungry):
banana, nuts
Do not drink soda, tea, juice, etc. Stick to water.
Try this out Flight. Feel free to throw in something different but make sure to google the calories, carbs, protein, and fat thats in it.

Forgot to mention I also drink a second protein shake an hour or so before bed. I mix my protein shakes with skim milk btw.
As far as showing them off, its not as hard as you think. Go swimming, go to raves/metal concerts, go run outside with your shirt off. Also, whenever possible wipe sweat off your forehead with your shirt, intentionally showing off your abs to the girl you are talking to. Maybe a bit douchey, but it works.

I work out a decent amount and I almost never work on my abs. I only started working on my core even in the last year when I was forced to in rehab for an injury.
I have basically had a 6-pack as far as I can remember, visible because I have low body fat.
Of course it's not bulging out like some sort of body-builder, but it does that v shape thing and if I haven't eaten a large meal recently it will still show without flexing while standing. When I flex it is clearly visible, after running or lifting or whatever it is clearly visible. The only thing that has made it less visible is eating more to gain muscle mass elsewhere. I only drink protein shakes when I remember too, never anything else..
also, that's a really solid menu mike k, and when I'm consciously trying to gain muscle I use something very similar.
more or less what I do is:
2x egg omelette with some peppers/mushrooms/etc
or
sandwich with peanut butter and bananas
and some sort of protein bar
some sort of sandwich with chicken in it
some sort of dinner with a large amount of chicken and usually broccoli with mixed vegetables, probably tomato sauce.
protein shake post workouts and once during the day if I remember with milk.
snack on cashews or something, or sandwich from first part.
I also drink a ton of water and usually a cup of tea just because I like it and it's really just water and some other junk, hah.
keep in mind that I am under the age of 25 for a few more years so my metabolism does give me a lot of breathing room.
