Default SMP at HIS Hair - Scar and crown 20/03/14 and 27/03/14.

    Hey everyone!

I've had permanent SMP at HIS Hair in Manchester with Danny on Thurs 20 March and Thurs 27 March 2014. Both sessions lasted 2-3 hours and went great, Danny is a top bloke.

He used shade 32 on the scar and 30 in the crown for session one. And 30 for both in session two.

I'm going to wait a while to see how this turns out before deciding if/when I go for a third session.

    Before.

    After 1st session.

    After 2nd session.

I'd love to see what this looks like once the redness has calmed down.

Have no fear Kiwi I will be updating when I get my hair cut.

It is a mess right now with different lengths everywhere but I'm waiting for it to grow a bit cos I don't want a skin head all over.

Looks really good, I'm thinking I'll get SMP into my butcher scar and shave at some point.

Not sure about just in scar or all over. Maybe just scar for starters

Default Update 15 days after 2nd session.

Just took these pics after my haircut. The scar is looking much better but I think it'll need another session, I don't think too many people get away with just two sessions in the scar. They can really suck up the ink.

The SMP in my crown does a good job of adding density and looks great but my crappy camera doesn't do it justice. Looks much better in person.

This looks great. A couple of questions.

How much better do you feel about your appearance? For the most part have you just forgotten about your make pattern baldness?

I have a scar too and as a result I'm too scared to shave down. My other question is did you shave down on the day of your SMP at the clinic or did you shave your head before the visit to HIS?

    Thanks for the comment Kiwi.

I feel a lot better about my appearance as I now have the option for shaving the back and the sides and having a more modern hair cut.

When I am finished adding the final touches with SMP then I think I will forget about my battle with MPB. I am pretty sure the rest of my hair is the same as my Father's and older Brother's who haven't suffered from MPB. And I was only destined to lose my crown.

I went to the barbers to shave down before my first session but they would've done it at the clinic too. Before the second session they only shaved the treated area and I tidied it up the next day. I should've got them to shave it all and I'm not sure why we didn't.

Default Scar touch up, 6 week update.

The scar faded further and I had it touched up 6 weeks ago.

I am very happy with how it looks now and will be thrilled if it stays like this.

    Touch up.

    6 weeks.
