It has already been established that there are ample stem cells in the balding scalp so creating more stem cells will not help advance the cause of hair growth.

Well actually the article didnt mention anything about years, lol. Not like it's necessary though, it'll be years anyway.

If it means that something worthwhile happens in terms of developing a cure 20 years away rather than 25 or 30, speaking hypothetically, isn't that a positive development?

For us it doesn't change anything. For children that will inevitably be bald, yes it changes a lot. However, what about all the studies from 10, 20 and 30 years before... those haven't done anything for us either.

Chasing a wild goose much? It is simply not in the interest of big pharmaceutical companies to find a cure. Treatment is far more profitable than a cure, you know. At best, they would make a product that can prevent further hair loss.

Two such garbage options already exist: Finasteride and Dutasteride.
And if Cosmo isn't plagued by corporate swine, CB will actually be released when it's too late for most of us thereby making it for an amazing grand total of three options.
2 or 3... the limited options are atrocious.
