Hi Paddy' ...
The phase test grafts will be anywhere between 100-500 grafts if my memory serves me right.
Possibilities of follicular regeneration at the donor area of this new technique would definitely be a bi-product of Dr Wesley's MAIN intention.
The initial phase tests that he had completed showed a great possibility of it happening but it was of course anecdotal.
Its exciting for me to know that I will be a part of this next phase test.
I try not to think about it too much..lol.

Sorry guys, I would have no idea what the eventual costs will be.

don't know the costs because they don't know the person-hours for the new procedure..plain and simple...also have to recoup costs for development of the new tool, although that can't be in the order of thousands...but I could be wrong

Man hours are supposed to be cut down significantly when harvesting grafts. If you watch presentation Dr. Wesley made thats available on Vimeo, you'll see he was going REALLY fast, like 1 graft per 2-3 seconds. A large chunk, if not majority of the costs for hair transplants is the doctors time. Pilofocus should alleviate that significantly.
Implanting the grafts into the recipient area is still going to be tedious.

You hit the nail on the head there Hellouser.
In fact the update that Dr Wesley had shared with me last month (via Skype)
showed a very consistent AND METICULOUS pattern of that removal time-frame.
One more thing, he very recently told me that by the last week of April he will be contacting me about the next phase test.
Stay strong all

Thanks for this Artista
Incidentally, did you get to the UK last year. If so, did you get to Swindon

This "Pilofocus" thing seems to have gone quiet in the last few months. I realize that speculation is always dangerous so we should avoid that. But has anyone heard anything definitive? Did the tests take place? Is the technique still in development, or has it been shelved?
Anything? Bueller?

yeah, don't expect much regeneration. pilofocus to me atm just seems like a procedure with scarless, nothing to wet your pants ovevr. Of course, I hope to be proven wrong but I'm thinking of making a FUE appointment soon, it'll be much cheaper for sure..
