Generic Finasteride UK

Anyone know of a pharmacy in the UK that sells generic finasteride 1mg?
I live in London and have asked around a few and none stock it, just propecia which is strange considering it went of patent late last year and I checked generics approvals by MHRA and they have approved 1mg finasteride generics from producers inside the UK. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be very happy, I live in London if anyone if that helps.

1mg generic finasteride is not available in the UK without an import licence which few GP's if any have.

Many patients obtain 5mg generic though as this is obtainable via private prescription in the UK. You need cut the tablet up into 5ths to get the 1mg recommend daily dose.

A reliable GP in the UK I use for my Proscar who also prescribes generic 5mg is Dr Steven Edgar : DrStevengedgar@gmail.com and I think it costs £180 for 14 months supply.
