The act of taking Finasteride

So, in my paranoia during my 'late' shedding phase I've been wondering..

Is taking finasteride orally a fool proof process?

In other words.. one can't possible mess that up, right?

I'm cutting the 5mg to 1.25mg quarters, and then taking it orally with some water every day around 2pm. The sections are so damn small I'm wondering if maybe the method of just simply swallowing it could be ineffective?

May seem silly, but I've been thinking about this for the entirety of the time taking the 1.25mg sections after switching from the very expensive 1mg pills.
