coloring hair after a transplant

hi,

I had a 6000 graft procedure with Dr Umar, just wondering how long do I have to wait after the procedure to die the hair in the donor and recipient areas?

Dr Umar says to die the donor area 6 months after transplant and 1 year for recipient. But everyone else on the forums is saying you can die it a month after the transplant or sooner.
