    Red bumps on scalp??

I have discovered some red bumps on my scalp, looks like pimples?? What could be causing this, and any ideas on how to get rid of them? Could these bumps be a result of me using olive oil once a week?

I get them too sometimes. Actually I just felt one right now on my scalp. They go after a few days so I don't really care.

Are you on minox? I get quite a few red itchy spots on my scalp whilst on minox

I was also going to ask you about what treatments you are on. I occasionally get pimples on my scalp because of minoxidil. Minoxidil is actually pretty harsh on my scalp: itching, flakes, irritation.

Hmmm, maybe its something else: new shampoo, styling product...?

Buddy, this could be the start of Folliculitis - it does sound like it to me. I've had it for 2 years, on and off. It's infected hair follicles, which can come in patches or just one or two at a time. It can be treated, but it takes time. Get to a dermo and ask specifically about it.

              Is your scalp itchy too?

I would recommend a consultation with a dermatologist or hair restoration physician. that way you can hopefully get your situation under control before your condition worsens.
