Very Aggressive Hair Loss at 18 with no sign of genetics?
I first noticed my hair loss at the age of 15 and it has become significantly worse over the last year, i am about to turn 19 in 2 months. On one side of my head i am almost bald and diffuse thinning all over with the rest of my head no where near as bad but getting there gradually. Over the last month or two as my hair has gotten long, I have also noticed significant thinning on the sides too. What is interesting is that I dont get it why it is happening to me, my Dad is 55 and his hair is thinning but only the last couple of years. I saw his wedding photo from when he was 37 years old and he had a great thick head of hair. My mothers hair has thinned slightly over the last 2 years and is in her forties but she suffers from medical conditions and has been on different medications for a number of years now. Not a single person in my family on both sides is bald except my maternal granduncle who went bald in his late thirties- early forties. My paternal grandfather died with a full head of hair and my maternal grandfather has only suffered hair loss which is normal as part of the ageing process. My paternal uncles have suffered similar hair loss to my Dad and my maternal uncles have full heads of hair. Likewise My cousins on both sides all have full heads of hair. Nobody in my family has ever went bald so young but yet here i am in this doomed position. I would be interested in hearing peoples opinions on this

Get a blood test to rule out any shit like thyroid disorders etc. Go talk to your doc or whatever.
Once that (likely) clears, it'll be safe to assume its mpb from some distant relative. sorry bro, im 18 aswell and nw3. im getting on fin, **** sides its all we got

mpb is epigeneic and exhibits variable penetrance so your family history is very rarely a definitive predictor of pattern or age of onset. However, what you describe may not be mpb, I would suggest posting pics here so we can give you an opinion of whether or not what you're experiencing is mpb, and you should definitely see a doctor and get a full panel work up to exclude any other possible causes other than mpb

The pictures you posted aren't great, but your hair doesn't look as bad as you're making it out to be. I also started losing my hair very young, around 12-13 yrs old, and I was much worse off at 16-17 than you are now. Like I said the pictures aren't great, but it does look to me that you probably are looking at mpb, but I would suggest you go see a specialist and rule out any other possible causes. If it does turn out to be mpb, then you're going to have to consider getting on finasteride and minoxidil to stop further loss.

It's almost impossible to tell what's being shown in these pictures. Post clearer pics, right side up, with your hair pulled up so we can see the hairline.

What he's describing sounds diffuse thinning so I don't think the state of his hairline will be that relevant.
On-topic: my dad is the only 'bald link' on both sides of the family (I have an older brother, 9 uncles and 12 cousins/nephews) and he started going bald at 45. I started at 25 (and probably even sooner). When it comes to genetics, sometimes you're just screwed. It's not worth breaking your head over it.

Please take some photos with your hair combed back to expose your hairline. Include side shots, a back shot, and one with your hair parted down the middle. MPB has a characteristic look. It's difficult to tell from your photos and description what's going on with your hair.
