testicular pain and shedding because of finasteride

hi guys, i have 2 questions for you.
1) one month ago i took 1.25 mg finasteride for 10 days. and i quit the drug because of testicular pain. and now i have extrem shedding for 20 days.
is this normal and will i gain my old hair or are they gone forever? before the taking drug i have a slightly shedding but now its shedding like hell.
2) if i take lower dose finasteride can i gain my old hair (before taking finasteride i had a good hair )
everything is happened in 1 month. isnt that ridicilous?????

All this you reported is directly linked to Finasteride. This is nothing new. I think you are still having no luck so far, because the list of side effects is very extensive.

Hey bro, 1.25 mg daily is kind of high number. Here are few recommendations:
Give it some time for finasteride to exit your system.
Be patient it takes awhile. Also, get blood tests done, especially hormone ones(check DHT, Testosterone, estradiol levels. I think lack of DHT might have contributed to muscle loss. Things will get better. Drink green tea and hit sauna to detox your body. You will be fine i think 10 days of finasteride is not bad as people been on it for years. Give your hairloss three months then take things from there.

Try tapering up to the normal dosage? like take it once a week, after a month up to twice a week, etc. Works for alot of people
