Different types of hairloss

Just been wondering lately, how hairloss caused by things such as low iron and thyroid disorders look like? and what about them differs (appearance wise) from MPB, and are vitamin deficiencies just triggers for TE or are they actually the cause themselves in some cases of hairloss
