Do we really have to wait until the 2020s/ 2030s for all out cure for hair loss/ baldness that can restore everybody to a NW1 or even NW2? What the hell is taking so long considering it's something as basic as growing a few hairs, when we can build stuff like the hadrian collider, supercomputers approaching the capacity of the human brain etc. etc. It really is depressing that all we can still achieve in 2014, is the big 3 and HT's with the "illusion of density"
Cure for baldness......when?

Yes we do. And in the scale of things keep in mind how lucky we are to even have that prospect. You can live without hair. -
Great progress will be made once clinical trails are started (should be this year) relating to PGD2 discovery in 2012. If it is not cured by the end of the trials it will be known exactly what has to be done afterwards to finally solve the puzzle.Comment

unless something is already public knowledge, things like stem cells, replicel, etc are probably a number of years off, if they work at all. Follica has not said anything in terms of when they'll come out. But there could be a de facto cure this year. That pilofocus is a hair transplant without scars, great yield, and if there really is regeneration, then you got yourself a basic cure. If you want more hair than that, you can probably wait out nicely for 10+ years until stem cells come in to get yourself an 18 year old head of hair.Comment

Cure for baldness...when?
Don't hold your breath! I remember 15 years ago when I first started losing my hair in my 20's, I took comfort in the fact that a cure had to be around the corner. Well I am still waiting and running top speed toward NW6.Comment

this is THE most depressing, despondent threat I have ever witnessed. I find solace in the fact that at this point in time we know indescribably more about hair, balding, and growth than we have ever, even just 3-5 years ago.Comment
