The law has been passed. http://seekingalpha.com/article/1857...d-by-investors
I remember there was speculation about replicel having to reengineer some things, but I wouldn't trust it since it's in fact speculation.
There is not a whole lot we can do to gain more information on the issue unfortunately. I think it's positive news that the law is now in place, Sheiseido has made the agreement and the technology transfer has been officially completed.
We would have to hope Sheiseido now starts trials under the new regulations relatively soon. If they invested in replicel I would imagine there are prospects for some positive outcome in clinical trials. Anyhow, I think it's safe to say under the new law the Sheiseido trials might be carried out faster.

This is a presentation they delivered today.

It all looks good but they plan on having phase 2 data in the second half of 2016.
Let's hope Sheiseido can go a little faster with their trials.

does the sheiseido link you posted mean they can go faster than in the states with clinical trials? or does it just mean they can sell stem cell related products?

For the love of it......3 years for a 1 phase trial?!?
By the time they are finished i will probably be bald by than.

A few questions about Replicel,
(a) Does anybody know when it will be released?
(b) How much would it cost at the beginning?
(c) How much hair would it regrow..........can it transform you into a NW1?
(d) Does it depend on having as much hair as possible in the donor area? E.g. Does depleted donor area from Hair Transplants matter?
(e) Will it do away with the Big 3, or merely be an extra tool for combating hair loss?

2016 at the earliest... thats also being optimistic.

Nobody knows, but you should probably use HTs, treatment, etc as a comparison in two years time to get an idea of the cost.

Initial Phase I results showed about 15% increase... so, not much.
(d) Does it depend on having as much hair as possible in the donor area? E.g. Does depleted donor area from Hair Transplants matter?
No. They're using cells and multiplying them. There will never be a limit.
(e) Will it do away with the Big 3, or merely be an extra tool for combating hair loss?
Ideally do away... depends on how well Replicel works.

Seriously?? This is a joke...ass-end of 2016?? For 15% increase???
I can't believe you guys are wasting your energy on this complete abomination of a treatment....

I wouldn't mind traveling to Japan for some follicular stabilization and perhaps some regrowth.....
Hopefully any products coming from Japan are tested being for radioactivity.

Or cured by then. I believe follica will save us. Replicel sounds promising, but too slow to keep up with other advancements.
