    Default Epilobium.

    Hi,

In Spain it's very common that people that takes finasteride, complement the drug with an herbal extract named "epilobium".
Supposedly, it inhibites the enzimes alfa reductasa type A and B and, moreover, the aromatasa that can induce low libido and ginecomastia.

I search into many english forums and i cannot found anything. I'm not sure if it happens because in english has another name...

In pubmed i found one study:

    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8778238

This is a Wiki article of the suposed plant:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epilobium

And here is a famous spanish web about hair loss that explain the component:

    http://www.recuperarelpelo.com/trata.../epilobio.html

    Anyone has an additional information?

    Thanks.

pd: sorry if my english it's bad, i'm just a learner!
