4 Months Post Op Dr. Gho and a Little Concerned
Hey guys,
Had 1200 grafts in the front with Dr. Gho back on Sept. 3, 2013. Everything has gone well, besides a couple of pustules in the recipient area the first few weeks.
About 2 days ago however (at about the four month mark), I began having swollen lymph nodes under my left ear, followed by red blotches in the recipient area and a high fever. I went to the doctor here in Canada and she prescribed an antibiotic (teva-cephalexin, 500 mg four times daily). I had no wounds in that area recently. Have any of you other patients experinced this? Could this be related to the surgery back in September?* Perhaps the new follicules are forming but are blocked from sprouting and thus becoming infected?
I've emailed the clinic but thought I'd check with you guys as well.
