Finasteride/ Minoxidil on the crown

I'm wondering how other users here who are long term Fin/ Min users found it to be on the crown area? Did it fill in much of your lost hair and has it had a noticeable effect, perhaps to the point of even covering the entire patch?

I've only started on both recently, but started noticing crown loss about 3.5 years ago, so I'm not sure if that is too long to leave it for fin/ min to be able to fill in the crown area again.
