Hated it. Didn't even fancy going out.

I feel good about 2014 overall. In regards to new hair loss treatments,
worldwide the focus on finding a 'cure' has profoundly GROWN
    to all-time new levels.
That focus will not go away.

Stay positive everyone. Don't ALLOW your hair loss to ruin your lives.
As Spencer has alluded to so many times in the past, do whatever it is that you need to do to stay healthy and happy. When you DO do that, a hair loss treatment/'cure' will sneak up on you.
Keep your focus on maintaining happiness, If someone around you consciously defines you by the volume of your hair then that someone isn't worth your time to begin with. Be it a 'friend' OR a family member.
Have a GREAT New Year everyone!
Be optimistic about life in general.

Well, whatever and wherever the cure is, I think we can all agree that it sure is "sneaky."

Anyway, good advice nonetheless. Easier said than done, but you have to live your life as if there will never be any progress. Happy New Year.

Happy new year everybody !! Hoping for some big advancements in the field this year, Tsuji, Jahoda, Li ... some good news from these guys could even lead to a cure in 2014, at least at the preclinical level. We're so close !

Definitely won't be getting a cure this year, but we can hope there are even more breakthroughs in the science of it, 2013 was huge for this!

I would say "Definitely will not have a cure available in 2014 but since we are only one step off from a cure in the research field we could have a cure this year that might be ready in, 8-10 years."

That's pretty pessimistic, if you ask me.

I'm not trying to be pessimistic at all. From the information I have gathered, even if we found a cure right now, it would take about 8 or so years to be made available to the public. Clinical trials suck.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I hope it's less.
