More than 4k grafts with FUE
Hi,
I am in the process of shortlisting my FUE Doctor and want to go for 4000 grafts. I was adviced by one of the doctors that doing more than 3000 Grafts (over a 2 day session) with FUE Is dangerous as it will damage the integrity of the donor area and result in a lower growth rate and wasted grafts.
I would love to know the community's opinions on this?

There are many variables that impact the overall yield. One in particular is the level of trauma induced from the endless extractions and accompanying recipient incisions. What are the dimensions of the proposed surface area being restored and what level of density is being targeted?
The more obvious variable is the level of skill of the FUE surgeon performing the procedure. Obviously some are more experienced that others.
How much experience with examples does the surgeon have in dense packing with FUE?
