1600 FUE in Chicago - Are these too spread out?

    Hi all.

I just had this done with ARTAS by a Chicago doctor Friday.

I am concerned these are too spread out?
    1500 grafts, 4300 hairs.

Any feedback on spacing, etc would be great.

I have the same concern... I had 1200 grafts (also with ARTAS) in my hairline and 800 in my crown and immediately I noticed the space between the grafts is huge compared with other hair transplant I see around but I know everybody will answer that we need to wait for the final results. The frustrating part on my case is that money was not an issue and I asked my doctor to have whatever amount of grafts he thought was going to give me impressive results and this is all I got in one session.

Let's see if any other expert here give you any other opinion because that answer will be also for me. The space in your case is almost exactly the same in my case.

      Good luck bro.

They do seem a little far apart considering that that's your hairline, but it's tough to say. Do you have a lot of "native" hair in that area? Maybe your doc was trying to spare as much of those hairs as possible.

How large an area were the grafts spread over?

Lastly, as always, specific concerns are best directed to your doctor or to another practising physician (for a second opinion).
