Default Does finasteride 1mg have a "loading period"

When I was reading about dutasteride I came across pages on something called the "loading period", e.g. for the first ten days, you take 1.5 mg, or 3 capsules per day and 0.5 mg thereafter. Does finasteride 1mg have a loading period along these days, and if so, what amount per day and for how many days/ weeks?

I started a month ago and just stated taking 1mg per day from day 1. However, I fear I am missing out on something if there is indeed a loading period for fin to take effect. Could someone please help me.

I did the opposite, and sort of eased my body taking lower dosages up until the 1.25mg dosage after a month or so.

No sides to report that I notice, and my theory was that I wasn't going to blitz my body with the meds but instead let myself adjust slowly. Don't think starting a month in either direction really makes that much of a difference in the long run, you're gonna just shed anything that would have fallen out in that month anyway when you start..

So a dosing period on either fin or dut would be unnecessary?
