Dr. Cole - Today's Strip Scar Repair
Inspired by Northeastguy's strip scar repair, our patient today is scheduled for 800 grafts. this is an interesting case. Our patient's hair looks very good. he has a dense donor area and his strip scars are easily concealed with his longer hair style. Like many men, he wants to be able to wear a shorter haircut, so that's why he's having grafts placed in his strip scars today. A lot of scarring for only 1,200 grafts taken by his previous doctor.

Hi jetfan11:
Hope you are doing well. His scar is about 1.2cm at the widest point.

Looks like there are two donor scars; one thinner and higher up and then the wide lower scar so it appears he had more than one strip surgery. The wide lower scar looks like it was taken from far too low, literally on the nape of the neck, which is why it stretched from being such a small procedure of 1200 grafts. This is indicative of sloppy technique overall.
Glad you were able to help him out.
